Boeing's Starliner Mission Set for May 6 Launch

Critical Test Flight for Commercial Crew Vehicle

Uncrewed Mission a Key Step in NASA's Human Spaceflight Program

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Boeing's Starliner crew flight test launch date and time has been set for Wednesday, May 6, 2024 at 10:52 AM ET from Space Launch Complex 41 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The uncrewed mission will be a critical test for Boeing's Starliner spacecraft, which has yet to successfully launch a crew to the International Space Station.

The Starliner spacecraft will launch atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket. If successful, the mission will mark the first time Boeing's Starliner has docked with the International Space Station, and a key step in NASA's commercial crew program.
